Orientation:
Needs to be south facing or within the arc of southeast to southwest. Panels can also be mounted east/west for
2 panel installation as they work using daylight as well as sunlight and will collect all day as the sun travels from east via
south to west.
Elevation:
Panels ideally need to be within the angle of 30 - 60 degrees.
Hot Water Cylinder Volume:
The volume of the cylinder is dependent on the usage of hot water. Typically:-
- Up to 1 bathroom and 1 en-suite, 180 litre twin coil Tribune solar cylinder, with 1 solar panel model no. CLS 2108.
- 1 bathroom and 2 en-suites, 210 litre twin coil Tribune solar cylinder, with 1 solar panel model no. CLS 2108.
- 2 bathrooms and 1 en-suite, 250 litre twin coil Tribune solar cylinder, with 2 solar panels model no. CLS 1808.
- Up to 3 bathrooms, 300 litre twin coil Tribune solar cylinder, with 2 solar panels model no. CLS 2108.
- Larger properties refer to technical dept.

Kingspan Solar Limited.
They will be instructed on why the components are fitted and how they work in conjunction with other components.
They will be instructed on how the controllers work in conjunction with heat sensors and other electronic equipment.
Training can be undertaken at the contractor's offices on site in suitable accommodation or at the offices of
Kingspan Solar Ltd.
Upon completion of training and proof of competency in understanding the processes, each operative will be
issued with a "Certificate of Registration" as detailed, complete with certification number.
